Love my new laptop
I wanted something powerful but extremely light. The Swift 5 has fully met my expectations. It feels solid whilst being so light you can easily hold it with one hand. The keyboard is extremely comfortable and types easily. The screen is the right size for me for work and great resolution for movies. My only “complaint” is that the fingerprint access is not always responsive and you kind of have to move your finger around a few times for it to recognize you. But it’s still better than having to type in a password. Overall, very happy with my purchase.

Good very light laptop, responsive, battery life not top.
Bought this after a bad experience on Warehouse. Although the box was severely damages and opened, the laptop inside was pristine, no scratches, damages or anything wrong. It is a quick machine, with a bright screen, responsive keyboard and good fingerprint reader which is handy for log in. The only downside so far is the battery life which is about 3 hours in normal use. The main amazement on handling the laptop is the weight, it is very very light, less than 1 kg. But still robust and solid feeling metal casing. Happy with this.

An honest review. Be careful while buying this laptop, ask for expert opinions. The one I purchased had a problem with the battery – “battery not present”. Pinhole did not work while trying to reset the battery when I tried multiple times. Acer support communities, troubleshooting and YouTube tutorials did not help either. Might as well consider the fact that the laptop I bought had no battery at all. I’d consider twice before buying this. Had to go and exchange this for a lenovo, the brand I trust and a brand that has proven itself to me in the past. The guy who exchanged it to me said that there’s something very wrong with the laptop; not saying that the same thing would happen to you but be careful please as spending all that money and then getting a faulty product is disappointing. However the model does have a decent processor.
